PGCCDC
Prince George’s Community Development Corporation (PGCDC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was created and born out of community engagement, empowerment, and entrepreneurship to the citizens of Prince George’s County. With a laser-like focus on the needs of our residents and advocating on their behalf to the County, state, and federal governments, PGCDC will provide both development and affordable housing, as a major part of their undertakings. PGCDC has formed partnerships, forged relationships, and endeavors to close the wealth and economic gaps that exist in Prince George’s County.
There is no doubt various housing shortages and food insecurities that exist in our wonderful county. Over the next years and decades, PGCCDC will be at the forefront of closing the disparities and being in talks, meetings, and conversations with all stakeholders who will assist in these efforts.
From Oxon Hill to Laurel to Capitol Heights to Bowie to Forestville to Largo to Seat Pleasant, along with the other 20 municipalities, we will crisscross the county to make it a better place to live for and with our fellow residents. We are here to make a difference, so reach out to us to discuss being a partner, a client/customer, or someone who also has a similar mindset as what we are set up to do.
Leadership
Michael Tolson Banner
Executive Director
Michael Banner has lived in Prince George’s County for over 20 years as a community-oriented and civic-minded resident. Banner attended Langston University and graduated from Clark Atlanta University magna cum laude with a BA in Communications. He also holds an MBA degree from Howard University’s Graduate School of Business and a Series 7 license as a stock broker. Banner currently holds the position of national construction contract administrator with NTERSECTION, LLC and has worked as a Senior Contracts Specialist with several federal agencies. In addition, Banner is the creator of MUZIK XPOSE.NET — the digital black streaming music/news network that showcases the lifestyles of Prince George’s County and Black America. He also serves as the Executive Director for Prince George’s County Community Development Corporation.
Anthony Lee Wright
Director, Community Engagement
Wright is a native of Washington, DC. Wright has been a Community Activist in the DMV for over 20 years, particularly in Prince George's County. He is a former military officer and currently works with the D.C. Government. Wright is a Labor Leader and spearheads AFGE's political liaison efforts. Wright also volunteers for the homeless.
Brian Yeldell
Chief of Business Development
Brian Yeldell is a Washington, DC and Prince George’s native with an undergraduate degree from Morehouse College and an MBA from the University of Virginia. Yeldell has spent half of his professional career in corporate America with stints at Bank of America and IBM. Yeldell’s entrepreneurial endeavors are just as stellar. Yeldell started a networking organization, Metropolitan Access, which had top level government and corporate titans as guest speakers. Some of the speakers included former President Bill Clinton, Bob Johnson (former CEO of BET), Abe Pollin (former owner of the Washington Wizards and Capitals). Yeldell’s thorough knowledge of the inner workings of the DMV and Prince George’s County in particular are second to none. Yeldell is Chief of Business Development for Prince George’s County Community Development Corporation.
